Sunrise

O! Morning glory; sunrise.

~

The scent of you; lingering still
Where it penetrated me,
Lodging into my braided ribs
Ropes, stretching around your embered embrace
Collecting silence
As we enter each other,
Everything remaining still,
Stained,
Each breath birthing an incandescent sun
Graciously ascending.

  1. Nuptial Morn

    Our song shakes the stars,
    Suns pour, ember’s glowing cloud
    Undone on our shore.

Our hands stroke and the stars stretch as sand beneath our feet. Downward and all around behold this glowing ocean, Love, upward, behold our sun.

That morning when the sun rose in her fully glory, you were with me, inside.
